About Us
The Society of Aesthetics in Medicine imparts expertise to clinicians through comprehensive training. Instruction is tiered, graduated and peer reviewed. Documentation of training is provided through certificate of completion for each module. Training consists of structured didactic sessions, cosmetic workshops on live patients and video sessions for surgical training. Expertise in medical aesthetic technologies are evaluated by the Society of Aesthetics in Medicine. These include Laser, IPL, Ionotherapy/Mesotherapy, Sclerotherapy, Microdermabrasion, Botox and various fillers. Facial rejuvenation/ resurfacing is also offered along with Chemical and Laser peels. In-office Tumescent Liposuction under local anesthesia (corporal and other sites), Lipotransfer (fresh and preserved fat), Body Sculpting and related procedures are taught in a two day live surgery session. Separate modules for instruction in Breast Augmentation (Endoscopic and conventional), reduction Mammoplasty and Minimally Invasive Abdominoplasty are offered as well in Advanced Modules. Instruction is provided by the Society of Aesthetics in Medicine by a dedicated faculty committed to quality in education and excellence in preceptorships in two domains: New York City and Chicago. Each faculty member is selected for their expert background and creativity in active practice of aesthetics in medicine. Graduates of the Society will serve the public by promoting safe and ethical practice of this specialty. Fortified with this knowledge gained, the physician will be equipped with competent delivery of aesthetic procedures so as to best serve each patient.

We continually examine ways to improve and update our knowledge and instructional modalities to reflect changes in the discipline of aesthetics.
